Refund policy

We offer a 14-day change-of-mind return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must be:

  • in the same condition that you received it,

  • unworn or unused, with tags, and

  • in its original packaging.
    You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back without requesting a return first will not be accepted.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) regardless of this 14-day period.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact info@winkiesdrinkies.com.au immediately with your order number and photos of the issue.
For faulty items, original packaging or tags are not required, and you won’t be charged return postage.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the fault.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom or personalised products

  • Personal care items (e.g. beauty or hygiene products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Sale items or gift cards

These exclusions do not apply to faulty goods.
If a product fails to meet consumer guarantees, you may still be entitled to a remedy under the ACL.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 calendar days of receiving it — for any reason and without justification.

To exercise this right:

  • Items should be in the same condition you received them (unworn/unused, with tags and original packaging).

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • You may use the EU model withdrawal form (optional): Download form.

We will refund you within 14 days of being informed of your decision to withdraw, and we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of their return.


Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved.
If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days (Australia) or 14 calendar days (EU distance sales).
Processing times by your bank or card issuer may vary.

  • Australia: No minimum requirement for change-of-mind returns; our 14-day policy is voluntary. ACL guarantees for faulty goods apply regardless of this period.
